The Pantheon is Rome's best-preserved ancient temple, built by Emporer Hadrian
between AD 118-125 on the ruins of another temple built by Marcus Agrippa.
The columnade and the cylindrical walls disguise the large dome inside.

Made of poured concrete with a large hole at the top, the dome
is 141 feet high and 141 feet wide, and is supported by walls 19
feet thick.  Among the shrines inside is the Tomb of Raphael.
